Dental Implants
While many treatment options can restore missing teeth, dental implants are one of the best teeth replacement options in Houston. These restorations replace the tooth's root and crown, creating the most natural-looking and reliable results.

What Are Dental Implants?
A dental implant is a small post typically made from biocompatible titanium material that is surgically placed in the jawbone. An abutment is fixed to the post and when the process is complete, a dental crown covers the abutment.
Dr. Erian surgically inserts the dental implant post into the jawbone to replace the missing tooth's root. The abutment is attached to the implant post with the fixation screw, which extends through the gums into the mouth. This screw is the support for the attached artificial tooth, or crown.
After your implant placement, you could experience the following benefits:
- You will chew food more easily
- The appearance of your mouth will improve
- Your jawbone will become less likely to shrink due to bone loss
- The surrounding bone and gum will remain healthy
- The adjacent teeth will remain stable
All-On-Four / All on X
A standard dental implant is surgically inserted into the jaw and allowed to fuse with the bone tissue in a process called osseointegration. This process allows the implant to become a part of your body, stabilizing your new teeth.
This is one of the most modern approaches to restore edentulous jaws with a set of fixed teeth, giving you your smile and health back through four to six dental implants strategically placed. These implants will be used to restore the entire jaw at once.
After an All-on-Four procedure, you can enjoy the following benefits:
- Stable and secure implant dentures
- Less jaw deterioration
- No bone loss

Full Arch Implants and Implant-Supported Prosthesis
Full arch dental implants can be used as part of a full mouth reconstruction to support an entire arch of prosthetic teeth and is similar to a dental bridge.
The primary difference between full arch dental implants and conventional dentures is that you cannot remove a denture supported by full arch implants. The denture is placed over the implants to fit comfortably and securely.
Full arch implants:
- Are more stable than dentures
- Are brushable, just like natural teeth
- Offer exceptional comfort
- Are highly durable
