Get Your Smile & Bite Back

As an experienced restorative dentist in Houston Heights, Dr. Antoun offers skillful, gentle treatment to repair damaged teeth and get you smiling again. Whether you have a cavity, infected tooth, missing tooth, or any other oral issue, we offer a wide range of services for patients of all types, and can work with you to keep your care affordable on any budget.

Restorative Services We offer:

Composite Fillings

At our office, we use composite fillings to treat cavities. Composite fillings are made of a special dental resin material and can be matched perfectly to the color of your teeth. They are also very strong, durable, and require less preparation compared to metal fillings, making them a superior choice for the longevity of your smile.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is required when your tooth has been cracked or damaged by a cavity and the interior “pulp” has become infected by oral bacteria. Symptoms of this can include lingering toothaches. Because Dr. Antoun sees your natural teeth as gems, he will always try to save your precious tooth with a root canal when possible.

Dental Crowns

At our office, we use high-quality porcelain dental crowns. Dental crowns are shaped just like natural teeth. Your tooth will be prepared, then the crown will be bonded into place, covering and protecting all of your remaining natural tooth structure. They’re ideal for treating large cavities, protecting teeth treated with root canal therapy, and for repairing cracked or damaged teeth.

Sedation Options

We offer sedation dentistry for all of our patients who are undergoing restorative treatment. Whether you choose laughing gas, oral conscious sedation, or IV sedation, we can make sure you have a pain-free experience, so you’ll be able to relax during your procedure. Contact us now for more details and to see if you’re a good candidate for sedation.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures use a metal-and-wire framework to support one or more false teeth. They attach to your remaining healthy teeth using metal clips, restoring aesthetics and function of your smile, and allowing you to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

Full Dentures

Full dentures are designed to replace an entire arch (or both arches) of missing teeth. They are recommended when you are missing all of your teeth. Full dentures are custom fit to your jaw to ensure they look and feel natural.

Common Problems Restorative Dentistry Can solve

Restorative dentistry is used to repair and replace teeth that are damaged or missing. For example, if you have a very deep cavity that has led to an infection, or you have a tooth that’s been damaged or knocked-out by oral trauma, restorative dentistry can help. Restorative dentistry may also be used to fix teeth that have been worn down and damaged by other causes, such as teeth grinding (bruxism) or acid reflux.
